No, it’s definitely not easy to be a child star — especially if you want to transition into an adult powerhouse — but Selena Gomez seems to be one of the rare cases who has taken on the challenge and succeeded.

She got started when she was a very little girl, made her way up the Disney ranks, and blossomed into an interesting Hollywood character and talented singer as an adult. Her journey wasn’t without its challenges, but it’s safe to say that Gomez has officially secured herself a spot at the table of Hollywood millennials.
